Reminder: Fishing in Hogan’s Glen

PLEASE do not fish/cast next to the pond fountains! There is an electrical cable as well as ropes that hold the fountains in place and they will snag your hook.

When a line is caught on the rope/electrical cable and cut – the rest of the fishing line is sucked into the fountain and wraps around the motor shaft. The fishing line then damages the seal, causing the entire fountain to have to be rebuilt or replaced as water infiltrates the motor.

Again – PLEASE do not fish near any lake fountain and if you see someone casting towards a fountain, please ask them to stop.
