Gate Update for Aug 28th

The selected gate company has been sourcing equipment for our job (yes there are supply chain issues for gate equipment) as well as coordinating the financials with our property management company. We are hopeful to see activity begin at the main gate next week.

We are making improvements to the gates versus taking a band-aid approach on repairs. Planned improvements include:

• Replacing the keypad controllers at all 4 entry gates into Hogans Glen
• Installing four new gate motors at the main gate
• Removing the gates from the stone columns at the main entrance
• Installing four steel posts in concrete at the main entrance to rehang the existing decorative gates
• Using new/stronger hinges to rehang our existing decorative gates
• Fixing/installing the missing/broken ground loops at the main and Katie gates
• Adding required safety equipment, doing curb painting and updating signage

This direction will provide us with updated more modernized equipment with warranties and should help us achieve our goal of fewer breakdowns and a more consistent security environment. We are also partnering with a gate company that is nearby geographically in case we need future support.

With the installation of the new keypad controllers at all entrance gates, access to Hogans Glen will require a five-digit code as well as new remotes, and our vehicles will need to be reprogrammed. The gate company has offered to reprogram resident vehicles and will hold several events to help with the migration. Announcements for registering your vehicles to receive a windshield sticker (those that need one), receiving new remotes, programming your vehicle, setting up five-digit codes, etc. are being planned and will be announced soon.
