Gate Update for October 7th

We are down to 3 houses that need to turn in their forms. Thanks to all that have them completed. An amazing accomplishment to have nearly 200 homes prepared for the new gate system. Thank you all!!

Where we are right now:

• Yesterday the new front gate operators were tested and worked well - main gates work manually but still need to be left open for another week until the CellGate equipment is installed
• Katie entrance gate now works with your new remotes - old remotes and car programming will not work at Katie gate - residents of HG can begin using Katie gate to enter the neighborhood by using their new remotes
• Asheville entrance gates remain unchanged and will open using your old remotes as well as your car programming. The directories at Asheville gates also still work
• The forms everyone filled out have been delivered to the gate company and will be entered into the CellGate database next week
• The CellGate equipment will be installed next week at all 4 entrance gates
• Once the CellGate equipment is installed, the main entrance gates will be activated (closed) and your new remotes and new access codes will need to be used to enter HG
• Car programming will be scheduled AFTER the CellGate equipment is installed and operational
• Last to be completed will be the new entrance signage and street painting

REMINDER – THE MAIN EXIT GATES NOW OPEN TOWARDS YOUR VEHICLE

Thank you to all who have been patiently waiting for the gate upgrade to be completed. The gate company has been very complimentary of the HG residents on how well they have navigated the upgrade process.
