Gate Update for October 25th

Published: October 25, 2022

New CellGate control boxes are being installed today at each of the 4 entry gates by our gate company. By the end of the day all 4 gates into Hogans Glen will be upgraded with new control boxes, and all will have working directories for each home based on the information homeowners provided on the Homeowner Information Forms.

By now you should have received an email from CellGate instructing you to download the CellGate app and set up an account (user name and password). If you did not receive an email from CellGate please call them at 855.694.2837 and press 3 for customer service then 2 for app support. Our account name is Hogans Glen HOA. Ask them to send you an email to set up your account.

With this installation today the main gates will now be closed and you will need to use your new remote or 5-digit pass code to enter Hogans Glen.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS:

When a visitor arrives to Hogans Glen at the main gate during the hours of 7AM-7PM they will need to register with the guard to gain entrance. If a visitor arrives at the main gate between 7PM-7AM or at any of the other gates i.e., Katie or the 2 Asheville gates where there is no guard, they will need to use the directory to call the homeowner. When you receive a call from a gate you will need to press the 8 button on your key pad to open the gate.

If you are having a party or need to allow access to Hogans Glen for service providers you can create a QR code that will allow access. In the app simply go to main page of the app and press the three horizontal bars in the top left corner. In the menu that appears you should see an option for “temporary invites.” Press that and follow the directions. Of the 2 ways to set up a QR code I found using the new invite blue button on the bottom of the screen to be the easiest method. Then simply follow the process where you can label the QR code, define the date(s), time and gate that the code will work at.I sent a QR code to myself as a test and it was a really easy process. I plan to try the code at each gate today as a test. If there are questions, please post them in Facebook on our HOA page and I will work to answer them.Still to be completed….(1) programming your vehicle, (2) street painting and (3) signage.I fully expect there will be a learning curve as we adapt to the new system.

Thanks
