Guardhouse Roof Update

We wanted to give you an update on the guardhouse roof including the results of the recently completed community poll.

As was stated in the information attached to the poll, the Board has been studying this issue for approximately 10 months.

We reviewed numerous options through a number of roofers, solicited bids for both repairing and/or replacing the roof, while doing our best to keep the community updated through our quarterly meetings.

The recent poll of the community was an additional effort aimed at getting input from as many homeowners as possible.

The results of the poll were as follows: - 91 homeowners (71%) chose the shingle/composition roof option - 37 homeowners (29%) chose the slate option.

At the Board Meeting last night, we shared the results of the poll, and announced that we would be moving forward with the Board’s decision to replace the current Chinese Tile Slate roof with a shingle roof.We had several good suggestions related to the shingles and will consider those suggestions as we work to get this project completed in an expeditious manner.
